Family Experiences

HNT offers child and family programming that are fun, active, and developmentally appropriate. Connect with your child, and watch how your child connects with their Judaism!

Simchat Shabbat (The Joy of Shabbat
This monthly interactive Friday night experience was created especially for our families with children ages newborn to five-years-old. Welcome Shabbat with family and friends, sing favorite songs, and dance, then enjoy a child-inspired community-style dinner.

Shabbat for Kids
Once a month, kids grade school age and younger are invited to Shabbat events that encourage them to build Shabbat community through song, game, stories, and creative movement. Each program is specifically tailored to the age level of the participants.
Playground Minyan in Gan Danny (Frankel Religious School, Room 3) - for preschool-aged children and their parents, led by Rabbi Jill Levy. The program starts at 11:00 AM, but the room will be open at 10:30 AM.
Mini-Minyan in the Frankel Religious School, Room 1 - a Kindergarten-2nd Grade Shabbat program led by Rachel Yedidia. This program starts at 10:30 AM and ends at noon in the Main Sanctuary.
Junior Congregation in the Gladstein Chapel - 3rd-5th Grades led by Ruz Gulko. This starts at 10:30 AM in the Gladstein Chapel and ends at noon in the Main Sanctuary.
